Birthday Week at Fathermucker

A big week of events, starting with the Pen Parentis Literary Salon in lower Manhattan — a few blocks from Occupy Wall Street, in fact — with the great Elissa Schappell (whose first name, I discovered, is pronounced like “a Lisa”), followed by an appearance on the Book Club Girl podcast, followed by the Nervous Breakdown Literary Experience at Book Soup in Los Angeles, along with Lenore Zion, Ben Loory, and Victoria Patterson, who read a piece about literary farts.  Thanks to everyone who attended/listened.

I turned 39 on November 13.  Because we flew back from LA that day, my birthday was only 21 hours long this year.

And Fathermucker continues to enjoy love in cyberspace:

–A nice notice and back-and-forth with BetaDad over at DadCentric

–Texas Book Lover loves my book dearly

–BookingMama’s verdict: “[A] very entertaining look at life and especially parenting. I recommend it to anyone who is a mother or a father or anyone who enjoys a books about family life!”

–Amelia Gray approves

–And I’m interviewed by the great Andrew Keating at Cobalt Review
